1) Booking confirmation and payment
A booking becomes confirmed only after we receive either the agreed deposit or the full amount by bank transfer. Until the payment arrives, the requested time slot remains available for other enquiries.
2) Cancellations
If the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled cruise, we are unable to offer a refund. This applies to full cancellations and to significant reductions in group size that materially affect the booking.
3) Arrival time, late arrival, and missed boarding
Private cruises operate on a fixed schedule and may have tight turnaround times. Please arrive on time at the agreed meeting point.
If the group arrives more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten the cruise to protect the schedule. If the delay makes the cruise impossible to operate, the booking may be treated as a no show and no refund is provided.
4) Flight delays, only if a transfer add-on was booked
If you booked an airport transfer add-on and the flight arrival is delayed by more than 1 hour, we will do our best to adjust timing where possible. If the schedule cannot be changed due to vessel availability and local operating limits, the service may be shortened or cancelled without refund.
5) Behaviour and safety on board
The captain and crew are responsible for safety at all times. Any instructions given by the crew must be followed.
We may refuse boarding or stop the cruise immediately, without refund, if:
- guests are heavily intoxicated to a level that creates a safety risk
- guests act aggressively, disrespectfully, or in a way that disturbs the crew or partners
- guests endanger themselves or others, or attempt unsafe actions
6) Strict safety rules
For safety and legal reasons, the following are not allowed:
- jumping into the river or attempting to swim from the boat
- interfering with safety equipment
- behaviour that can cause injury or property damage
7) Damage, cleaning, and compensation
Any damage to the boat, interior, equipment, or related property must be compensated immediately. Payment may be requested on the spot. If damage is not compensated, the cruise may be ended immediately without refund, and further costs may be pursued.
8) Personal belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal items. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or forgotten belongings.
9) Liability
Participation is at the guests’ own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, stagcruisebudapest.com is not liable for personal injury, health related issues, or incidents caused by guest behaviour or failure to follow safety instructions.
10) Age policy
Guests under 18 may only participate with an accompanying adult and only where the specific booking conditions allow it.
11) Coordinator support
If a coordinator is included, they assist with logistics and smooth arrival. The coordinator is not a tour guide and does not provide guided sightseeing services.
12) Acceptance
By confirming a booking and/or making payment, the client accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entire group.
